7th July 2015

AmCham CSR Committee organized a best practice visit for our committee members on 7th July 2015 at Tapkan School, Tapkan Village, Haryana. The initiative was appreciated by all the attendees. We visited the school and understood the challenges faced by them. It definitely has motivated the participants to consider similar effective activities for their own organizations.  The requirement of the involvement of all the concerned parties: school head, villagers, children and the project managers for the success of a CSR programme is well established in the Tapkan School Project. The key take away was connecting CSR officials from our member companies, learning the best practices followed for a school education project and planning thereafter how they can help this project to do better. We plan to do more Best Practice Visits in future.
