NextGen Global Leadership Program 2019

An obligation towards creating the next generation of corporate leaders needs no overemphasising. It is however, undisputable that it takes discerning and concerted effort to prepare NextGen leaders and the right approach in this direction is critical in the long run. U.S. Corporates conducting business in and from India can immensely leverage from the fortuitous platform of AMCHAM where collective strength of member experience in spirit of collaboration, innovation, and community can be leveraged to increase effectiveness in preparing leaders for today’s highly competitive & complex global business environment where many stakeholder interests need to be balanced.

With a commitment to developing NextGen leadership potential at the core, it is aimed to hone best practices from across industry and deliver an experience to prospective NextGen leaders in an annual program titled “NextGen Leadership Development Program” which will be a structured format through the sharing of insights, advice and the leadership journey of senior executives from different businesses. AMCHAM members who lead American businesses in India are a valuable resource for such a leadership development program. This will prepare the future generation of leaders who will help India-U.S. business as well as economic relationships flourish.

With the aim of providing identified NextGen leaders relevant and engaging seminars on career development best practices, peer-to-peer networking, and dialogue with senior executives from industry-leading companies, the program will help tomorrow’s leaders hone skills, knowledge, and connections needed to be global pacesetters in the modern business world.

The program, spread over 10 sessions of 2 hours each, will be concurrently conducted from all regions. Each region will be supported by leaders of member organisations in the respective regions. Regional Directors will coordinate the program within their operational areas.

AMCHAM takes this initiative to facilitate building stronger teams in the Indo-U.S. business fraternity to further growth, participate in enhanced economy and to create an atmosphere of continued robust leadership – the epitome of all-round success.
