Report: India’s Doing Business Achievements

Secretary DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, made a presentation on ‘India’s Doing Business Achievements’ on 4th November 2017. CEO, World Bank, Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, lauded India’s 30 place jump in the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ report. The PM indicated that the World Bank report was released prior to GST which would further streamline the ease of doing business in India.

The United States and India: Forging an Indispensable Democratic Partnership 

The Center for American Progress Task Force on U.S.-India Relations, co-chaired by Ambassador Richard Verma and Ambassador Nirupama Rao, was specifically designed to include both United States and Indian citizens and seek a shared vision of bilateral relations over the next decade.
