Intellectual Property Rights on 30th April 2009 at Le-Meridien, New Delhi.

AMCHAM along with the US Embassy organized a Round Table on “Intellectual Property Rights: Enhancing India’s Competitiveness” on 30th April 2009 at Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi.

Microsoft sponsored the event and KPMG was the Knowledge Partner.

Around 60 persons attended this conference, which was followed by Two Breakout sessions:

Mr. Deepak Maheshwari, Chairman, AMCHAM’s IPR Committee and Director – Corporate Affairs, Microsoft Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd., chaired the Inaugural Session and delivered the opening address.

Mr. Dominic Keating, First Secretary for Intellectual Property, US Embassy delivered the Welcome address. This was followed by a presentation by Mr. Arpinder Singh, * Executive Director (Forensic), KPMG. Mr. Ajay Singha, Executive Director, AMCHAM India proposed the Vote of Thanks.
