US Ambassador to India, H.E. Mr. Timothy Roemer, addressed AMCHAM members on 19th August 2009 in New Delhi. Over 85 AMCHAM members and officials from the US Embassy including Mr. Steven White, Deputy Chief of Mission, attended this meeting.

Mr. Tejpreet Singh Chopra, Chairman, AMCHAM, President & CEO, GE India welcome the Ambassador and the members. H.E. Mr. Timothy Roemer in his remarks said that it was an exciting time for India and US relations. He said both the countries were strategically collaborating in areas of education, agriculture, science & technology, innovation & technology, nuclear energy and health.Both countries were engaged in tackling terrorism and security issues.
