AMCHAM has organized a Round Table discussion with Mrs. Meera Shankar
on 16th April 2009 at ITC Maurya, New Delhi.

Mrs. Meera Shankar is the second woman Ambassador of India to the US after Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Pandit, and the first serving diplomat to be posted in the US. This is her second tenure in Washington as she was posted there from 1991 to 1995 as Minister (Commerce). Prior to this assignment, Mrs. Shankar was the Indian Ambassador to Germany.
