Mr. Andrew Simkin has taken over as the new Consul General at the Chennai Consulate from 21st Aug 2008. He was making his maiden visit to Bangalore and met with members of AmCham Bangalore too. The interaction was to learn about any operational issues faced by our members, especially acquiring land for expansion as in the Singur situation. Members were unanimous in expressing that there have been no major issues faced by them. With the number of queries posed by AmCham members, the meeting proved to be a successful interaction.
