Meeting with US Ambassador

 

Mr. Atul Singh welcomed the Ambassador and the participants.

 

US Ambassador to India, H.E. Dr. David C. Mulford, addressed AMCHAM
members in Delhi on 10th September 2008 to brief them of the NSG waiver
to India and the consequences of the Indo-US Nuclear deal.

 

65 AMCHAM members and officials from the US Embassy including
Mr. Steven White, Deputy Chief of Mission, attended this meeting.

Dr. Mulford said that the Indo-US nuclear deal will have an impact on India’s growth over the next 20 years. The nuclear deal will have an all around positive impact. He hoped that the deal will receive the approval of the US Congress soon. The economic impact of this deal will be tremendous for both the countries.
