AMCHAM India Annual Christmas Ball-2008

The biggest social event of the AMCHAM is the Annual Christmas Ball which was held on December 13, 2008 at ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi. The Ball received great response from members and was attended by nearly 300 members.

By 20:00 Hrs arrival of members & guests and was followed by Cocktails and Band performance. The evening was graced by presence of Guests of Honor Mr Steven White, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy and Mrs. Kimberly White.

Mr. Ajay Singha, Executive Director, AMCHAM India welcomed the Guests of Honor and other participants.

In his observations, Mr. Atul Singh, Chairman, AMCHAM India and President & CEO, Coca-Cola India , thanked the Guests of Honor, senior officials of the US Embassy and the participants for attending the event in large numbers.

Mr. Steven White thanked AMCHAM for inviting him and his wife to be the Guests of Honor and appreciated the efforts in organizing a wonderful program on such a grand scale.

More than 50 attractive gifts received from members and AMCHAM’s well wishers were given away through raffle draw. These included Business Class Air ticket Delhi-US-Delhi from American Airlines, 1.5 ton Durakool Carrier Air-conditioner from Carrier Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Ltd., gift hampers from Mary Kay Cosmetics, Tupperware India Pvt. Ltd., also gift vouchers from various hotels and showrooms.

AMCHAM received encouraging support from various members companies such as Coca Cola India, DE Shaw, Discovery Communications, Eaton Powerware, Tupperwar India Ltd and Xerox India as Platinum Partners. The guests were entertained by a live band played by Rock & Raga and Stand-up comedian, Ms. Rubi Chakravarti. The event provided a great opportunity for networking amongst members and guests.
