Events Organized by AMCHAM Hyderabad Chapter after the last board meeting

1. Breakfast meeting for an informal interactive session with DCM White (who was on a visit to the city to attend the Indian Aviation Show) at Taj Krishna on 16th October 2008 at 8.00am

Agenda: Seeking his views on the Civil Nuclear Deal, Economic turmoil across the Globe and business environment

2. Successful completion of AMCHAM Annual Sports meet from 8th November to 21st December 2008

3. Conference call arranged by between all the regional chapters on 4th Dec 08 to discuss and share knowledge from the activities of each chapter, to plan better co ordination, and strengthen the association in the process

4. Networking Dinner on 5th December 08, at Hotel Ista – an interactive meeting between the chapter members and Hyderabad Consulate

a). Informative with a speech by Mr. B Shankar, Sr. Advisor from Tax & Regulatory Services of Ernst & Young, on the rule that was introduced by the Govt. of India “PF contributions for international workers”

b). A brief about security issues by Mr. S Prabhakar Reddy, Commissioner of Police - Cyberabad, in the light of the unfortunate happenings at Mumbai

5. Conference call between the National & Regional chapters on 6th January 09 to discuss about a better system for the transfer of funds to the regional Chapters

6. A visit to CM’s office to meet Dr. YSR, CM – AP by Board & Few other members of AMCHAM, AMCHAM National Board Meeting, Along with a luncheon interactive meeting on 23rd January 2009 at Pearl Room, Taj Krishna.

On the anvil – Hyderabad Chapter annual day which also concludes the sports meet by prize distribution to the winners of the events (Friday, 20th of February 2009) AMCHAM Hyderabad will felicitate “Saina Nehwal” National Badminton Champion on this Occasion.
