Overview

The U.S. India Energy Cooperation Program (ECP) is a public-private partnership that aims to leverage private sector business resources in both the U.S. and India to promote commercially viable projects in clean energy infrastructure and energy efficiency business within the framework of the two countries' energy security and climate change concerns. The ECP focuses on business development and the commercialization of clean energy and energy efficient solutions that also advance the energy-related interests of both the U.S. and India. It will work in close partnership with both the U.S. and Indian Governments to provide coordinated private sector support to accelerate deployment of efficiency and clean energy technology.
