ECP Structure

The ECP member companies have a shared commitment to the development of such partnerships for activities which help to promote bilateral trade through mutually agreed goals of the ECP. Subsequently, thirteen companies so far, operating in various energy-related sectors, have come together as Founding Members of the U.S. India Energy Cooperation Program.

Working groups have emerged from within the members of ECP based on their expertise in technology and interest towards the areas of clean, green energy.

1. Working group on Industrial/Building/Commercial Energy Efficiency - AECOM, Ingersoll Rand, United Technologies, Malcolm Pirnie, Dua Assoc, IBM, PWC, Honeywell, GE

2. Working group on Biofuels and Renewables - IBM, Honeywell, PwC, Dua Assoc, Malcolm Pirnie, GE

3. Working group on Unconventional Gas - ExxonMobil Gas Aecom, IBM, UL

4. Working Group on Smart Grids - Honeywell, PwC, DUA Assoc, Malcolm Pirnie, GE

5. Working Group on Solar Power - Underwiters Laboratories, GE, Dua Assoc, IBM, PwC, Honeywell

The Governing Board of the U.S. India Energy Cooperation Program is Chaired by Mr. Zubin Irani, Senior Managing Director, United Technologies Corporation India Private Limited. Other founding member companies include Boeing, United Technologies, GE, Honeywell, IBM, Ingersoll Rand, UL, Malcolm Pirnie, AECOM, and Dua Associates. PWC are the knowledge partners while AMCHAM India houses the secretariat for the ECP.
