Cognizant Technology Tops Institutional Investor's 2011 All-America Executive Team Survey

Outsourcing-Services Provider Is Across-the-Board Winner for Best CEO, CFO and Investor Relations

NEW YORK, NY - (Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp., the Teaneck, N.J.-based consulting and outsourcing-services provider, is the big winner in Institutional Investor's second annual All-America Executive Team survey. Institutional Investor asked buy- and sell-side analysts to name the best CEOs, CFOs, investor-relations professionals, and outfits with the most highly regarded IR departments among the U.S. companies they cover.

Analysts on both sides agree that, in the Computer Services & IT Consulting sector, Cognizant's executives are the gold standard: Francisco D'Souza is the Best CEO; Gordon Coburn is the Best CFO; and David Nelson is the Best IR Professional. They also say Cognizant provides better IR services than any of its peers.

Cognizant is the only company to finish in first place in every category in its sector in this year's survey.

The companies ranked most highly overall also include Cisco Systems (Telecommunications), the Coca-Cola Co. (Beverages), Express Scripts (Health Care Technology & Distribution), Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (Metals & Mining), Kroger Co. (Retailing/Food & Drug Chains) and MetLife (Insurance).

The rankings reflect the opinions of nearly 1,300 analysts and investment professionals at more than 550 firms.
