CSR Initiative: Distribution Drive organized at Hughes Systique on Nov 26, 2010

On Nov 26, 2010, a Distribution Drive was organized by HSC where in nutritious food items procured by Parivartan, (CSR Forum at HSC) and the articles collected during Joy of giving Week, were distributed in various slum clusters in Gurgaon.

Three cabs full of donations & volunteers left HSC premises early afternoon. Upon reaching the slum site, HSC’s Team,distributed food & clothing items. Four such slums were covered.
One thing that all the volunteers experienced was that there was a plethora of overwhelming feelings; feelings of usefulness that one was contributing to the upliftment of under privileged; helplessness of not being able to wipe of all the suffering & poverty & that so much more needs to be done and the feeling of thankfulness for being blessed with proper food, clothing, shelter & health.

The good smartians returned to HSC with a determination to return to these slums again with a little more to contribute….
