A meeting of the members of the AmCham Medical Devices Committee and a visiting AdvaMed delegation led by Mr. Kevin Lobo, Chairman and CEO, Stryker and Board Member, AdvaMed was organized in Gurgaon on March 28, 2016.

AdvaMed had a delegation of its member companies visit New Delhi to meet senior government officials on March 29, 2016. The purpose of the delegation was to highlight the rising concerns in the devices sector to the Indian government and to extend full support to the government and help them to resolve these issues in a collaborative way.

The delegation included participation from four AdvaMed member companies namely Stryker, Boston Scientific, Abbott and Smiths Medical. AmCham members who attended the meeting with the delegation members included participants from BD, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Stryker, India Medtronic, Edwards Life Sciences, 3M, CR Bard, Varian Medical and St. Jude.
