Report: India’s Doing Business Achievements

Secretary DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, made a presentation on ‘India’s Doing Business Achievements’ on 4th November 2017. CEO, World Bank, Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, lauded India’s 30 place jump in the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ report. The PM indicated that the World Bank report was released prior to GST which would further streamline the ease of doing business in India.

The United States and India: Forging an Indispensable Democratic Partnership 

The Center for American Progress Task Force on U.S.-India Relations, co-chaired by Ambassador Richard Verma and Ambassador Nirupama Rao, was specifically designed to include both United States and Indian citizens and seek a shared vision of bilateral relations over the next decade. 26th Annual General Meeting

 

The 26th Annual General Meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce in India was held on April 26th, 2018 at Hotel Lela Palace, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The theme of the event was ‘Accelerating U.S. – India Economic & Strategic Partnership.’ The meeting was chaired by Mr. Pratyush Kumar, Chairman, AMCHAM India and President, Boeing India. Ms. Ranjana Khanna, Director General CEO, AMCHAM, welcomed participants and presented the Annual Report. She highlighted the important events organized by AMCHAM during the year.
